V-Twin Real Street — (E. T. Bracket Racing Format, .500 Full Tree)
The V-Twin Real Street Class is open to all configurations of twin cylinder street bikes and modified street bikes.   The V-Twin Real Street Class, is open to both import and domestic and is designed to give twin cylinder racers a completely separate class to run against each other absent of four-cylinder entries.    All Harleys – Panheads, Knucklehead, Shovelheads, Evo’s, Indian, All Bikes with S& S Motors, ALL V-Twins from all manufactures are welcome to race in this class.

Sportsman Format – All Run Field – Any Cubic Inch – No Power Adders – No air or electric Shifters – DOT Street Legal Tires – No Wheelie Bar – Working Headlight and Tailight – No Electronics ie: Two Steps/Launch Control – 70 Inch Max Wheelbase – All V-Twins Welcome.

ALL Racers, Beginners to Pros & ALL Motorcycles Are Welcome. ** Membership in CTMDR is not required to participate (race) in any of the CTMDR Races.

Racing Format:
The V-Twin Real Street Class is an Sportsman Class run on a .500 Full Tree.    It will be an all run field and will qualify for eliminations based on reaction times from second round qualifying.


Designation:    VTS  followed by rider number.

V-Twin Real Street Qualifying Procedure:
All entries in the V-Twin Real Street Class will run round one and two of qualifying on a random pairing basis.   After Round Two of qualifying Racers line up in the left or right side of the lane your class is called to on a random pairing basis until were down to 16 bikes.

Buybacks  —  1st Round Buybacks Only

The class will qualify a 16-bike field and place them on a Sportsman Ladder.

Sportsman Ladder Parings:   Once we get down to 16 bikes or less, the class will be placed on a Sportsman Ladder based on reaction time from the previous round.  Once the ladder is generated, lane choice is given to the rider with the better qualifying position.  16 – 8 – 4 – 2 – Winner.

Entry Fees / Payouts:
Entry Fee / Payout go to:  CTMDR 2019 Entry Fee – Payouts    **** Trophies and Payout to the – Winner – Runner Up – Semi.

Engine:   Any Cubic Inch –  No Power Adders

Fuel:    Gasoline, Alcohol and Nitrous allowed.     No Propylene oxide.

Frame:     70 Inch Max Wheelbase.  Any Street Style Frame and material is legal.    Must be Street Legal and pass Tech Inspectors approval for safety.

Suspension:    Front suspension minimum travel of 2 inches.

Ground Clearance:    The motorcycle must have a minimum of 2” ground clearance with rider sitting on the bike.

Brakes:    Front brakes and Rear Brakes are required on all bikes entered and must be in good working condition.

Chain Guards:  Required Primary & Rear Drive.

Electrical:    2-steps, delay boxes and electronic throttle stops are prohibited.   Delay boxes and electronic throttle stops are not allowed.  Must be disconnected and removed.

Ignition:  Any Stock or Aftermarket Ignition system is allowed.  Computers: only data gathering computers allowed.

Control Switches:   Must be mounted and constructed in a safe, craftsman-like manner.   Must have an emergency kill switch of some kind on all motorcycles.

Controls:   Handlebar controls must be located in safe, workable position. Foot pegs and foot controls must be located in safe, workable position and must be mounted in a safe, craftsman-like manner.      All controls must meet or exceed OEM equipment standards.

Lights:   Working Headlight and Tailight   DOT or Aftermarket approved lighting system.

Transmission:   Any stock or after market transmission.   Belt drives are legal.   Rear wheel drives may consist of any ratios and materials.

Clutch:   No air or electric Shifters.  Aftermarket slider clutches prohibited.   Clutch Engagement and disengagement must be controlled by conventional cable or hydraulic ‐ actuated clutch lever.

Tires:   DOT Street Legal Tires

Wheelie Bars;   NO Wheelie Bars

Wheels:   Stock OEM wheels or aftermarket performance wheels.   Any size is legal.

Body:    Stock OEM fenders and gas tank, or custom fenders and gas tank are allowed but must be mounted and constructed in a safe, craftsman-like manner.   Shells are legal.   Rear fender must cover the width of the rear tire and extend beyond the vertical center line of the rear axle.

Fairing – Allowed.

Seat:  —  All motorcycles must have a seat securely mounted

Tech:   All motorcycles must pass tech before practice.   Motorcycle, rider and their protective gear must pass tech.    Tech official will have final say on any unclear rule or equipment.

General Safety:
Helmet – Full coverage helmets only!   Must be Snell-2000 or ECE 22.05 or helmet approved by tech Eye protection is required. Protective Clothing – Leather jackets, full-finger leather gloves and hi-top leather shoes or boots. Riders exceeding 120 mph must wear full leathers. Safety is very important – Please Be Safe.
